Available: Thanagar Zorro “Jackdaw”
Jackdaw is a 3 year old neutered male Mudi, from our 2022 accidental litter between Puffin and Junco. Jack was originally a hold-back from this litter and has lived with us (or visiting our friends) most of his life. Jack is a happy, affectionate boy and we are in no rush to place him – however, we recognize that he would be happier in a quieter household and therefore he’s available if the right home comes along.
Jack is neutered, chipped, up to date on vaccines, and AKC registered. He will only be placed in a co-own (we have stored semen that may be used in the future). Jackdaw is fully health tested, with OFA Excellent Hips, Normal Elbows, Patella, and Shoulder, and a normal OFA Spine. He will need semi-regular eye exams to maintain his required health testing, as well.
Jackdaw plays disc and dock dives, and has good instinct on stock. He’s a softer guy and will not work for a heavy-handed owner and will not work in a high correction environment. Jack is good with dogs and children. He is crate trained, house trained, and travels very well. Jack does require a 6 foot fence, as he can easily jump a typical chain link fence.
