Starling joined our family in February 2024! She is our dream puppy, a stunning daughter of KBB Rege “Red” and the handsome guy, Hávi. Star has a lovely temperament, and is an observant, thoughtful girl. Her structure is gorgeous and we’re very excited to have her in our breeding program.

Starling hit the ground running with her conformation career, and has shown very well. She handles the show environment beautifully, has never struggled with her exam or with the stress of conformation shows in general. Starling was awarded a Group 2 in one of her two Beginner Puppy shows, and earned a 3-point major in her first show as a 6 month old puppy.

Recently, Starling has started agility classes – she loves to work and is always excited for a fun puzzle. Early on, Starling showed a great love for tracking and has a natural desire to “hunt” with her nose to the ground, so she joined our Search & Rescue team as a trailing dog and has done exceptionally well with this work. She LOVES to trail and we are very excited for her future as a tracking/trailing dog.

Starling finished her AKC Championship in spring 2025. We have goals to continue showing her for her GCH, and she has also began training in agility recently in addition to her mantrailing.
